Ground Operations & Aerial Support
Ground Operations & Aerial Support
Length: 2 day module
Private Training: This course is available for private/custom course delivery for companies or organizations with a group of people that require training.
Do you understand the value of a good person on the ground? How much time can it take to get someone to understand the equipment, knots and techniques to attach a tool to a rope, sling a tree properly and quickly? This course is designed to train tree worker support staff to understand the very important role they play in overall job site safety and accident prevention. In addition to clean up, chipping of brush and cutting of firewood, they are responsible for assisting climbers or bucket operators in often very technical and serious rigging, removal and pruning operations.
A strong focus on risk management, safe and ergonomic work practices is demonstrated and practiced in this course. Ground Operations and Aerial Support accelerates ground workers' abilities and skills to help make them positive contributors to climbers and aerial lift operators during day-to-day tree care operations.
Any arborist crew ground support team members. In private, customized training programs, this is a great course to combine with training for workers in aerial positions (climbing, rigging etc.) where workers in all positions learn to work as a team and support each other to create a safe work environment.
