Structural Tree Support Systems

Length: 1-day Module
Private Training: This course is available for private/custom course delivery for companies or organizations with a group of people that require training.

Have you cabled or braced a tree? Have you heard about rope style non-invasive support systems? In Structural Tree Support Systems, you will learn about traditional and modern equipment and techniques related to providing structural support to trees. Emphasis is placed on evaluating trees structurally and determining appropriate support systems based on tree value, condition, and legal liability implications.

Expert coaching provides you with an understanding of the effects of the forces of wind and gravity on a tree, and its biological and mechanical response to these stimuli. You will also learn how to install a non-invasive, dynamic tree support system.

Tree workers, landscapers, nursery staff, golf course staff and gardeners of any level of experience and knowledge.

Testimonials

I thoroughly enjoyed the Train the Trainer program. The information presented and the learning techniques were brought forward in a challenging, fun way. The course required us to step out of our comfort zone, but the rewards were fabulous. I would recommend this course for several reasons.

I learned about myself and the power of collective energy. I look forward to serving in this platoon but mostly I feel honored to have spent this past week with seven of the coolest trainers I've ever met.
