DJ Neustaeter is a full time employee of Arboriculture Canada Training & Education Ltd., an organization focusing on meeting the training and education needs of arborists and related industries. He is an accounts manager, helping to book private training, as well as both a lead and assistant instructor in multiple domains.

DJ specializes in training, program development, customer relations and field operations. DJ graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in urban forestry.  DJ has 10 years experience in tree care and related industries. DJ’s experience includes Wildland Firefighter 2020-2021, Scuba Dive Instructor 2018-2021, Arborist at The Butchart Gardens 2022/2023, Volunteer Firefighter/Rescue Specialist 2022-2023, ACTE lead instructor 2017-Present. DJ is the son of Nancy and Dwayne Neustaeter, founders of Arboriculture Canada. His passion is to share, learn and connect with people and trees.

DJ has grown up in the arboriculture industry and practices sharing knowledge passed on from others. From an early age DJ’s mentors imparted the importance of hard work, dedication, kindness and a love for trees and people. DJ also competes as a professional tree climbing competitor in ISA competitions as well as volunteering his time to help facilitate and run such events. DJ is passionate about helping organizations in the green industry navigate unique and specialized challenges.

DJ’s drive to problem solve stems from his passion to help others. DJ has experienced the most success when people work together as team members. Teamwork is a keystone to DJ’s philosophy. DJ believes that people are allot like trees in how they connect, share and grow. DJ’s dynamic presentation style will inspire and motivate business operators to go back to their businesses with renewed energy and practical action steps.
