About Me

Born in Argentina, Emi emigrated to Canada with his family when he was 8 months old. It was at a young age that he gained an appreciation for hard work, fixing things, and most of all plants.

After pursuing an opportunity to play professional soccer in Argentina when he was in high school, Emi took a job at a local Tree Nursery. It was there that he fell in love with trees, and the day he saw an arboriculture group teaching climbing and there was no turning back.  Tree climbing became a passion and obsession. After spending some time working in Edmonton, this curiosity led him to find a job in North Vancouver where he had the opportunity to learn from some of the best arborists in the industry, and climb some of the tallest trees he had encountered so far in his career.

In 2014 Emi became an ISA certified arborist, and in October of 2019 took a Chainsaw Train the Trainer Intensive camp with Arboriculture Canada. After moving west to climb and work with big trees, Emi is back in his home city of Edmonton, Alberta running a small arboriculture business and hoping to pass on his passion to others.

Emi is a new and enthusiastic assistant trainer and loves exchanging knowledge and sharing his experience with others. He is looking forward to exploring more opportunities to teach and encourage others to pursue their dreams of climbing and learning about trees!
