About Me

Ruth Maendel is an ISA certified arborist and has been an assistant trainer with Arboriculture Canada since 2016.  She has been a Manitoba Licensed Arborist since 2007 and worked for the City of Winnipeg as an inhouse trainer, climber and crew lead until 2020.  She now owns and operates a private tree care company in Winnipeg.  She has competed at many ISA Prairie Chapter tree climbing competitions and was the women’s champion in 2017.
